There is a large fire burning in Malibu that is gathering all the news coverage.
meanwhile there are two large out of control fires in San Diego.
The fire down near the border has already killed one person.
The fire in North county just started three hours ago and it's going to be really bad. The fire marshal is already comparing it to the cedar fire. We are 35 miles down wind of that fire, and the smoke is already so thick it makes you cough and burns your eyes. Its going to be a long evening for a lot of San Diego residents.

Life Full circle
From the day we are born we are all rushing towards death.
We don't know when, we don't know where. Live your life well, you only have one run at it.
Today we euthanized Bosco, a member of our family for 15 years. It was a decision we agonized over preferring to let nature take its course. Last night was just too much. He was having problems with his airway and was very upset, could not catch his breath he was in pain and panicky. We could not watch him suffer. In todays modern society death is too well hidden.
It happens in a land of sterile rooms full of tubes and hoses. We should all be aware that our death is coming and to live life well until that time. Take a moment today and hug the ones you love.
